The positive effects for business and society of having more women at the top rungs of the corporate world are well documented. At the same time, global trends, such as financial instability, geopolitical unrest and climate change are deeply affecting the corporate world. Add on digital disruption and increased scrutiny on the companies’ role in society, and a different picture is being painted for board directors and leadership teams – their role, work and composition. This is what I call the Board Room revolution.
