The UN´s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) outlines the goals for a safe and sustainable future by 2050, and by 2021 the EU Taxonomy will be an important reporting instrument supporting that. This new course will enable board members to take a leading role in guiding companies to work systematically to secure their future role.
The course is run as a digital classroom course (unless the governments restrictions are changed), and the participants will be engaged through pre-reading, group discussions, case work, and questions from the trainers.
The course is specifically designed to enable the participants to assist companies with a systematic approach to identify, implement, communicate and report on the SDG’s.
Key topics are:
Understand the importance of the SDGs, and how they should impact the boards role, composition and work processes
Implement the SDGs as a fundamental and fully integrated part of the strategy development
Report in an integrated and understandable way
The course is developed in partnership with FutureBoards AS and DNV GL, and combines the unique knowledge and experience from the Board rooms from FutureBoards and the systematic approach through management systems from DNV GL.
