In its third UK-edition, the FutureBoards Cross Border Dialogue on Women in Finance will take place in a digital format. We are therefore excited to also invite participants from throughout Europe and indeed globally.
Organized by FutureBoards, the event is kindly hosted by the Royal Norwegian Embassy to the United Kingdom. We highly appreciate the support from ABGSC Women in Finance Foundation, the UK Institute of Directors and ACCA Global.
The number of women in decision-making positions in the corporate sector are improving - steady but still depressingly slow, regardless of country borders and business sectors. Therefore, we believe that by sharing best practice on what works, we can help move the needle – together.
At the upcoming FutureBoards Cross Border Dialogue we will take a closer look at the state of play in the financial industry. We will explore similarities and differences experienced by women in finance in UK and Norway. We will exchange thoughts, views and ideas on what concrete actions taken in the two countries that have proven effective. And more importantly: We will ask what is the role of investors and boards, and how can they, and how should they contribute.
